SP: Shadow Planner maps where sunlight and shade will fall — drop a map pin or aim the camera at a scene, then preview shadow length and direction by time of day, weather, and calendar on your iPhone. Plan picnic spots, parking, photo shoots, or plant placement. This page explains what we may access, what stays on your device, and what we never share with map advertisers or location-data brokers.

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the SP: Shadow Planner mobile app on the Apple App Store and to read-only content served from this website’s API. It is written for outdoor planners using the app and visitors reading this page.
Information
SP: Shadow Planner does not require your legal name, email, phone, mailing address, or payment card for core shade-planning tools.
Map pins, calendar slots, weather lookups used for forecasts, and AR previews you run remain for your in-app experience. We do not repurpose them for targeted advertising or resale.
Remote Content
When the app loads shared copy — tips of the day, feature notices, or popup info — it may fetch public JSON from this domain. That material is generic shade-planning guidance, not your private map history.
Location, Camera & Sensors
Shadow forecasts may use GPS, compass, camera, and AR when you opt in — only to place the scene and estimate sun direction. Access is requested when you start a map or camera session. Microphone and contacts stay unused unless a future feature clearly needs them and this policy is updated.
Weather & Device
Optional weather forecasts help refine cloud cover for shade accuracy. Diagnostics you voluntarily share with Apple follow Apple’s privacy terms.
Hosting
Infrastructure partners operate this policy page and API endpoints. They retain traffic logs needed to run servers under their own practices.
Optional analytics or support tools, if added later, will be named here with collection limited to their role.
Minors
SP: Shadow Planner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Contact App Store support if a child submitted information and we will help with removal where possible.
Retention & Security
Saved plans in SP: Shadow Planner remain under your control on your device. Delete pins in-app or remove the application to clear local storage.
We apply reasonable safeguards to hosted assets. No service is perfectly secure — treat location pins like a private outing notebook, not a public check-in feed.
Your Choices
Leave SP: Shadow Planner whenever you choose. Revoke location, camera, or network access in iOS Settings for a tighter offline mode where supported.
Updates
We may revise this policy as SP: Shadow Planner evolves. The date above marks substantive changes. Continued use after an update accepts the new terms where law permits.
